While I’ve been scanning today (on my third book and about 250 pictures so far…) I’ve been emailing back and forth with a colleague of mine at the Ministry whose wife works at the National Library. He’s emailing me with info on how to get old national and regional newspapers. Yay! June 1964 specifically, please and thanks, Stephen!

Meanwhile, another one told me yesterday that Wellington has its own Cavern Club. I’m inordinately excited about this.
